Accounting and Logistics Assistant (Temporary Position) - 80-100%

What we are looking for

• Relevant education/experience with work in Logistics/Accounting.

• Good English skills, both written and oral

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Customs and VAT experience for import and export of goods is an advantage

• Structured and efficient

• Comfortable working in an environment where there are many balls in the air

• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate well with internal and external parties

• Self-driven and solution-oriented

Responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting from A-Z

• Handling of cash settlements

• VAT and customs handling

• Monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet

• Monthly accruals and cost allocation to the various departments

• Quality assurance and monitoring of orders throughout their lifecycle - from order placement to delivery

• Handling order allocation in a structured and accurate manner that maintains delivery windows

• Monitoring shipments of goods, following up on order confirmations and prepayment customers

• Follow-up on invoicing, including crediting and complaint handling

• Booking of transport for customers

• Creating shipping documents for international shipments with correct tariff/HS codes

• Report follow-up

• Follow-up and contract agreements with logistics partners

• Preparing documentation related to transport & shipments

• Other tasks as required
