Loen

Where weather becomes a part of the landscape

There are places that ask you to slow down. Loen is one of them.

On Norway's rugged west coast, where steep mountains rise directly from the fjord, the weather is never simply a backdrop. It moves through the valley like part of the landscape itself. Clouds drift across the peaks, rain arrives without warning, sunlight breaks through just as unexpectedly. Every hour reveals a different version of the same place.

Perhaps that's why it felt like home.

That thought resonates with us

When we set out to photograph our Autumn/Winter collection, we weren't looking for perfect weather. We were looking for weather that tells a story. The kind that softens the light, deepens the colours and reminds you why Scandinavian design has always been about living with nature rather than escaping it.

Days in Loen begin quietly. Mist hangs above the fjord. The mountains disappear and return again. A short walk can take you from still water to alpine landscapes, from calm mornings to windswept ridgelines. It is a place shaped by contrasts, yet everything feels connected.

That philosophy has always been part of BRGN.

For nearly a decade, we've designed garments inspired by the realities of Scandinavian weather—not to conquer nature, but to move effortlessly through it. To embrace the unexpected rather than plan around it.

Loen reminded us why.

Because sometimes the most beautiful landscapes aren't found in perfect conditions. They're revealed the moment the weather changes.

If you find yourself in Loen

Take the Loen Skylift above the clouds. Walk along the striking turquoise waters of Lovatnet. Watch the ancient ice of Briksdalsbreen meet the valley below. Or simply find a quiet place by the fjord and let the weather do what it has always done.

There's no better way to experience Scandinavia.
